Libertyville Chiropractic Team
Marie Oppedahl
Marie Oppedahl – Office Manager
Marie has worked as the Office Manager for Bosco Chiropractic Clinic since 1997. In 2009, Marie was presented the prestigious award of Chiropractic Assistant of the Year at the Parker Seminar in Las Vegas. Marie was born in Sweden, where she got a nursing degree and then worked primarily in geriatrics. She moved to North America in the late 1980s. She has lived in Libertyville since 1996. Marie is married and has two kids and four grandkids (whom she adores). She likes spending time in nature, especially hiking and biking. She also likes to travel! One of her favorite places to visit is Zion National Park, where she loves to go canyoneering. Other favorite spots of hers are the Black Hills in South Dakota and Malmö, Sweden (her hometown). Patients love Marie because she cares intentionally for everyone, her giving nature where she goes above and beyond for others, and her passion for chiropractic.
Jennifer Kolber – Financial Office Manager
Jennifer Kolber
Jennifer is the Financial Office Manager at Bosco Chiropractic. She started at the clinic as a patient and transitioned to part of the team in 2019. She has been on a holistic health journey for many years, and chiropractic is a major part of that journey.
Jennifer has been married to Todd (who is also a patient) for 35 years and they have 4 kids. They are down to one cat of their own, but have several “grandkitties & grandoggers”. Jennifer loves to garden and over the past 8 years has changed the landscape of her home to mostly native plantings, which she loves to cultivate. She is fortunate to have a home in SW Florida and works from the “southern office” over the winter. Her other favorite place to travel is with her family to Disney World several times a year. She is also an avid birder and spends a lot of time watching the skies.
Lexi – Chiropractic Assistant
Lexi
Born and raised in Lake County, Lexi has loved the opportunity to give back to the health and wellbeing of her community by transitioning from a longtime patient to staff member. As a graduate from the University of Kentucky, she received a BS in Biology and a BA in Spanish and recently accepted a spot at the prestigious Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Studies’ Physician Assistant program. She fosters her love of community service through her own non-profit organization, volunteering at various local organizations such as animal shelters and food banks, and serving on the Lake County Illinois State Pageant board as the director of community service where she helps young women become involved in serving their communities. She is an avid traveler, bookworm, and animal lover and is so excited to share her light and love with everyone here at our clinic.
Mia – Chiropractic Assistant
Mia
Mia joined Bosco Chiropractic Clinic in the summer of 2024 after learning about the practice through her parents and her aunt, Jennifer. When she’s not at work, Mia enjoys spending time at home with her family and pets. She has lived in Grayslake her entire life and has two sisters and three cats she loves dearly. In her free time, Mia enjoys learning about different types of insects and birds. Although she prefers to stay local, she does enjoy travelling once or twice a year with her family. Summer is her favourite season, and despite seasonal allergies, she makes an effort to spend time outdoors. Mia typically works on Saturdays, which gives her a great opportunity to connect and catch up with patients.
Christian – Chiropractic Assistant
Christian’s journey into health and wellness began with a deep-seated passion for maximizing human performance and the science of natural healing. After initially pursuing a path in finance, he realized his true calling lay in helping others optimize their health from the ground up, leading him to pivot his focus toward healthcare and bio hacking industry. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Christian is dedicated to understanding the “root cause” of aging. He is passionate about increasing health-span and lifespan, with the long-term goal of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, specializing in longevity and bio hacking. He believes that proper fueling, supplementation, and a proactive lifestyle are the pillars of a vibrant, high-performance life, and he is excited to share that knowledge within the chiropractic setting. Outside of the clinic, Christian is a dedicated to pursuing bodybuilding and fitness enthusiast who practices what he preaches regarding disciplined nutrition and clean living. When he isn’t in the gym or studying, you can find him golfing with friends, or exploring the outdoors with his dog, Duke. He is a firm believer that health is an ongoing journey of refinement and is grateful to help patients navigate their own paths toward feeling their best.
Elizabeth Manley – Registered Nurse
Elizabeth
Elizabeth has been a part of Bosco Chiropractic Clinic since she was just three years old. After experiencing chronic ear infections as a child, Dr. Bosco’s care helped her avoid needing ear tubes, an experience that sparked her lifelong belief in the power of chiropractic and natural healing. Now a Registered Nurse, Elizabeth is passionate about a more holistic, root cause approach to health. She is currently furthering her education through the Institute for Functional Nursing, where she is expanding her knowledge in functional medicine and integrative care. She is excited about the future of bringing functional medicine into the chiropractic setting and helping patients achieve optimal wellness from the inside out. Outside of the clinic, Elizabeth is a [solidcore] enthusiast and loves a long natural walk. She also enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with her family. She loves her daily walks, especially with her dog, and you can often find her with a matcha in hand or sipping bone broth, two of her favorite daily wellness staples. She feels incredibly grateful to now be part of the team that played such an important role in her own health journey and looks forward to supporting others on theirs.
From patient to nurse, proof that healing comes full circle.
